Time: 10:30am - 4pm
Venue: Outside Haydn Williams Lecture Theater (Building 405)

GENERAL RULES:
- The game will be held over a day.
- It will have a time limit and boundaries will be set on the day.
- Each player will have to email some personal details ( Curtin Student ID, mobile number, name, picture, weapon/s of choice) BEFORE the day of the event.
- An ID card or a badge with the player's photo and a unique number on a poker chip will be used for identity and game purposes.
- Weapons must be provided by each player. These may include spoons, , plastic materials, nerf guns, rubber animals, other harmless traps, wacky string, sock bombs, inflatable items and pretty much anything else as long as it is NOT CAPABLE OF CAUSING PHYSICAL HARM!
- You will be assigned a random target on the day.

GAMEPLAY RULES:
- Players will be rewarded “game money” for successful kills.
- The game money can be used to buy clues and other stuff.
- Players will be informed of what and where the Safe Zones (Areas where kills cannot be made) are.
- Clue cards/mission cards will be scattered around campus within the designated playing area for players to exchange for clues at "the desk".
- Phones, email and/or a dedicated website will be used for communication between players and moderators.
- Players will be able to loot their kills. (Target's poker chip, details, etc. NOT WEAPONS)
- Points given will be based on how players achieved their kill(s). (ie. A melee kill will give you more points than a ranged kill)
- Players will be split into 3 groups, named “Guilds” in the game. 

More about the game will be explained to players on the day.
There will also be screenings and video games to entertain players who have been eliminated.

Our next event which is just around the corner is our annual AniGames! dated for the 3rd of July Saturday, 10:30 am to around 8-9pm, located at the Christ Church Grammar School, L Block, Queenslea drive, Claremont (very close to UWA).

An event organised and held by every anime club in Perth! Including PaNic, UWAnime, Anilympics, POWA, JAFWA and of course ourselves . Download the attached poster for all the info and a map on the location. in case I miss anything here, also coz the poster is epic .

Cost is $5 for freeplay/spectators and $10 for competitors. We have many gaming comps with amazing prizes to be won and freeplay instore for you all! Including:

Super smash bros brawl (organised by yours truly ), Street fighter 4, Blaz blue, Mariokart Wii, Halo 3, Bomberman Live and Sonic Speed run! The times for the competitions are as follows.

11 - 1pm Freeplay SSF Halo
1 - 3 pm MKart BBlue Bomberman
3 - 5 pm Smash Blur Sonic

Most with freeplay after or before the competitions take place. Also have an Osu! and DDR machine for freeplay! So show us your rythm skills .

Description Hey all! (NOTE: EVENT IS ON TUESDAY 29TH JUNE! not wednesday! We made a mistake on our poster if you see any around uni)

Can't wait for exams to be over? Once those nasty things have been and gone, AniCu will be hosting our Midsem Movie Event, with our feature film Origin: Spirits of the Past, as well as two OVAs screened earlier as a little extra gift to you tired students, for free of course!

Timetable is as follows:

6:00-6:30PM Cencoroll OVA
6:30-7:00PM Kowarekake no Orgel OVA
7:00-7:30PM Break
7:30-9:15PM Origin: Spirits of the Past


-Non-members or affiliates are $2 or join AniCu at the door
-Food will be served as usual, this time from the guild, as well as pocky, hello panda, noodles and whatever your heart desires Tongue (not really).
- Fresh popcorn!

Can't wait for exams to be over? Once those nasty things have been and gone, AniCu will be hosting our Midsem Movie Event, with our feature film Origin: Spirits of the Past, as well as two OVAs screened earlier as a little extra gift to you tired students, for free of course!

Timetable is as follows:

6:00-6:30PM Cencoroll OVA
6:30-7:00PM Kowarekake no Orgel OVA
7:00-7:30PM Break
7:30-9:15PM Origin: Spirits of the Past


-Non-members or affiliates are $2 or join AniCu at the door
-Food will be served as usual, this time from the guild, as well as pocky, hello panda, noodles and whatever your heart desires Tongue (not really).

lol ok well we mentioned ages ago a 'humans and zombies' event and ive been reading, comparing it with 'assassins' and I think 'assassins' would be SOOO much better.

Why?

1. Because it is something more expected to do within 1 day rather than being long term/many days like HvZ.
2. Because it is more of a 'one off hit/kill' thing rather than with HvZ where zombies are merely stunned unless not tagging anyone for a few days.
3. More flexibility with weapons since it is a one off kill thing, plus the cool thing is, EVERYONE is an assassin and EVERYONE is a victim.

Anyways I will discuss this more with committee and possibly other clubs. I reckon It would be heaps fun to do! and fits more into the 'budget', 'our degree and limit of planning' and turnout .]]>

Additionally, this week's screening, Rainbow, is rather graphic and some may interpret it as obscene or offensive. If you are put off at all by medical examinations, graphic depictions of abuse, or banding in your encodes, it might be best to skip the preview this week.
