Uh...jazz up or promote the CFT screenings? There was hardly anybody in the lec theatre (then again, people are studying for exams.....)

I know, CFT screenings are kinda dead lately.

i think what we gotta do next year is start putting like a few flyers in the library, like 1 or 2 on each floor, would help the club heaps more, as well as promote the CFT screenings. Or i could make one saying bored during CFT and like anime?? Come jones lecture theatre, etc. I dont mind like printing like 20 or 30 lol

next year im hoping to have some flyers with me, since im always in the library and anyone i see reading manga or watching anime (and i do see tons of people on lvl 3 doing just that) ill put a flyer on their table and hold some forms too in case . Like today i was sitting next to someone watching naruto and ya he is a first anime timer and ya i reckon we could get so much more members like that.

but sometimes people don't want to be disturbed when they are watching anime or reading manga ...
but i guess it's ok to try to do that ...

anyway, the question we should be asking is that "why people who join never come to club room" and not "how to get people" ...
getting people to sign up isn't much of a problem ...
but people who sign up and don't come to the club room to hang out is ...

usual reason is that they are shy lah ... they don't have friends who's willing to accompany them to the club or something ...
while those who eat snikers to get some nuts and came to hangout in the clubroom became active member ...

Or their classes decided to be ghey and pile up all over Tuesday.

We have a very interesting suggestion from Cheryl which we can pimp out on Open Day. She suggested we have some form of a fresher function, drag new-to-uni students and get them to get used to hanging out with us and make new friends.

mmm are the bunny girls ganna do the dragging, coz if so can i be the bunny commander HEHE. i think in the end its not ganna happen over night. it might take some time for the new members to get to know people at the club.

i dont think many people would be comfortable with bunny girls...
you need something every uni student likes.
and also when they are all gathered in one spot, instead of making them go places.

Indeed. Or we can make a fleet of flying pantsu like the one in the video I posted in the youtube thread. Launch it from the top of the library or something and attach flyers onto them.
